Crafting for a Cause 

Approximately 15 years ago Erica Robinson was diagnosed with a progressive kidney disease…Polycystic Kidney Disease, better known as PKD.  As no one in her family has it, it was quite a surprise.  In her case it was caused by a genetic mutation.  Both kidneys are affected and there is no cure.   

In May of 2020 Erica was placed on the Kidney Transplant List at UPMC Starzl Transplant Institute here in Pittsburgh and In June 2021, Her sister was able to donate one of her kidneys! Both surgeries were successful.

 

The goal is to raise money that will help them cover expenses that the insurance company may not cover.
